As the capitalist machine clinks and clanks on to the next fad, the next limited edition, and the next way to convince us all to part with just a little bit more of your money, I hope they realize they're responsible for what I've created here, because this place was built as a safe haven from that horrible practice that's become standard.
Instead, both myself and many of the visitors here seek out the diamonds lost in the rough of thrift stores, garage sales, and swap meets. Knowing they're made from materials that have lasted longer than the lives of their previous owners, chosen for durability and nostalgic charm.
For those things that I find, there are always others that aren't quite for me, but were just too good to pass up, and that's where you come in. Here I'll put on display everything that I couldn't resist buying, but still resist using myself for any number of reasons.
